Hi! I’m Rosie. Certified squirrel watcher, professional stick inspector, and neighborhood news reporter.
Humans… we need to have a little chat.
Every time you say, “Come on, Rosie!” while I’m sniffing a bush, you’re basically dragging me away in the middle of reading today’s headlines.
ð A Sniff Walk = Reading the Neighborhood News
Every smell tells a story.
ðū Who walked by.
ðģ Who marked their favorite tree.
ð Who got a new puppy.
ðŋïļ Whether Kevin the squirrel is still causing trouble.
ð° Which rabbit thinks he’s invisible.
You call it sniffing.
We call it research.
It’s like reading the newspaper, checking Facebook, scrolling Instagram, and catching up with the neighbors… all with one nose.
ð An Exercise Walk = Doggie Gym Time
Now don’t get me wrong…
Sometimes I wake up ready to GO!
Zoomies activated.
Let’s walk fast.
Let’s hike.
Let’s play.
Let’s burn off some energy and come home ready for a well-earned nap.
Exercise walks help build strong muscles, healthy hearts, and calmer brains.
ðķ Rosie’s Professional Opinion
Here’s the thing…
We don’t always want the same kind of walk.
Some days we’re athletes.
Some days we’re detectives.
Some days we’re investigative reporters trying to solve the mystery of who left that amazing smell by the mailbox.
Both walks are important.
One works our bodies.
The other works our brains.
So next time I stop to sniff every three feet, just remember…
I’m not being stubborn.
I’m catching up on the neighborhood gossip.
And trust me…
There’s always something worth reading.
